Remember the British soldiers killed in the first Gulf War because a couple of trigger happy A-10 pilots was so set on getting kills they attacked a British column claiming the were Iraqis. And they were supposed to be experts at vehicle recognition. An RAF Jaguar pilot sent to check flew at a higher altitude and recognised them as British.
