  1. The British singer Tommy Steele claimed that his late father was used as a sort of unofficial body double as he look like Churchill. From what Steele said from time to time his father would be invited out to a big restaurant in London for a meal with someone who was known to be part of Churchill's circle. This would happen when Churchill wanted to keep his movements secret. From what Tommy Steele said his father was one of about six people who resembled Churchill.
