"Medicare is not completely free. While Medicare Part A is usually free, other parts have different costs, including coinsurances, deductibles, and monthly premiums. Enrollees should expect to spend at least $2,088 on plan deductibles to receive traditional coverage...."

I remember when I thought Obama was going to make healthcare better and all he did was make it worse.

@eliflynn7282 - I agree. Allow people who make less than a certain amount (like $50,000 or less or whatever) to get all of their earnings in take home pay and put a flat tax on everyone else and be done. The only way taxes could ever be fair is to not allow loop holes to get out of paying for them. I think 8% across the board would be fine. If big business are really paying 0 on taxes then 8 percent would be a lot of money from them.

When people who are on Medicare here in the USA still pay $500.00 a month for healthcare, it's no wonder that people don't think M4A is a good idea.
2
Someone just told me that they pay $500.00 per month on all the health costs they have on Medicare. So much for free.
2
The only people who think Medicare is free are people who know nothing about it.

LOL, even Cenk knows Kamala is lying.
1
@BonnieGovoni - they all lie all the time.
1
We have that here in the USA for poor people too. It's called Medicaid.
1
@AVD223 - I didn't say it's bad. People act like it doesn't exist though.

When you have to depend on government to house you, feed you and raise your children then government is too big.
1
@tureytayno3154 - I absolutely do not prefer that.
1
@carmay3600 - Don't you mean Medicaid? I'm talking about Medicare. They're not the same thing.
1
@imnotmike - I'm talking purely the expense of it.
1
@bonbonvegabon - Really? That's your reply? I actually think it SHOULD be free. Why don't you just take your own advice?
1
So I don't get it. Is M4A free or do people have to pay for it? Because if Medicare isn't free in the first place then how are people affording it? I just talked to someone on here who is saying they're on Medicare and still pay $500.00 per month. How does that work? There's no way I or a lot of other people could afford that.
1
@JebusHypocristosX - Apparently, here in the USA, people who are on Medicare are still paying insane amounts of money for their healthcare. So no, I don't get it.
1
@JebusHypocristosX - Ok, but regular Medicare isn't, so why doesn't regular Medicare pay for everything? Why do people on Medicare here need to pay for part B,C,D, etc.?
1
@JebusHypocristosX - Well, I'm sorry but trying to convince people to accept M4A when people here know it isn't free is understandably a harder sell.
1
@JebusHypocristosX - Well, I'm sorry but the evidence shows that for people in the USA, Medicare isn't free.

@twill9278 - That's so confusing and ridiculous. I don't have health insurance and I don't know how anyone who doesn't make a pile of money does. Anytime anyone asks me what Trump has done, I say that he at least took away my Obamacare fine. I think as far as politics go that they're all in it together at the top. I don't know how people can have their faith and trust in government for any side. Thanks for your comment!!
1
@twill9278 - When you're paying $500.00 per month, you shouldn't have any unpaid medical bills.
1
@twill9278 - What state do you live in?
