Perhaps the reasoning is that if they're "mature enough" to handle LGBTQAI+ rights then they must be able to handle the 10 Commandments as well.
2
Most people don't want LGBTQAI+ flags in classrooms but yet many have them.
2
Everyone has broken every one of them.

@brianwilson14 - The 5th commandment is the same concept as obeying government. People are to obey authority unless it comes to disobeying God.
1
@ashleybishop7248 - According to the Bible, Jesus actually made the 10 Commandments harder by equating anyone with any hate in their heart towards another as murder and anyone who lusts as an adulterer. You've broken them all.
1
@ashleybishop7248 - Who is talking about laws of the land? Jesus didn't say it was the same thing. He said both broke the law of God.
1
@ashleybishop7248 - They are not equal in severity. They're equal in that it all needs to be forgiven by God.

See Matthew 22 v 36 - 40.

@antimatterexplodes4014 - They might as well. Things that Christians are against are already being pushed in the classrooms. They might as well have something up and go ahead and allow everyone to look at both Baphomet and the 10 Commandments and maybe people will come to the realization that everyone is choosing one or the other. I've thought that about courthouses and other state properties for quite a while now and it might as well apply to everything, including schools.

Only if it glories adultery, which the 10 Commandments do not.

@iansampson3273 - Many have some form of glorification that most taxpayers don't support. Flags, LGBTQ rainbows, etc.
1
@tek2095 - People can do that on their own time. If you don't worry about using taxpayer dollars to promote LGBTQAI+ then don't worry about taxpayer money going to promote the 10 Commandments either.
1
Yes, and according to Matthew 22 v 40 all the law and prophets hang on 2 commandments. In other words, if you love your neighbor then you're not stealing, killing or destroying, etc. If people love God then they want to follow the first part of the 10 Commandments and if people love others then they want to follow the second part of the 10 Commandments.

@marklapworth1436 - Would depend on if crimes were committed or not. The Bible doesn't say not to punish people for breaking laws.
1
@marklapworth1436 - True but Jesus told her to go and sin no more. I'm not sure who built and brought in the guillotine. Did you happen catch the name of those who were responsible for that?
1
I'm sorry. I meant the gallows, not the guillotine.
1
@marklapworth1436 - No, you didn't hear anyone's names. It's rather amazing how so many people are getting huge prison terms for just being there but not one single person identified as having anything directly to do with the gallows. I think for being a coerced situation that that's all they got out of the J6ers is pretty amazing. They had a way better effect on leftist propaganda such as the riots of BLM, etc. Do you know that most leftists still think Sicknick was killed by J6ers because nobody on the left wants people to know the truth? What a shame. But leftists do what leftists do. How about those people scaling the walls of the Capitol? Those pesky conservatives sure are fit and limber.

Oh my no. Let's focus on LGBTQAI+ rights.
