  1. Please ensure that the weapon is pointed in a safe direction. Down at soft ground ( NOT AT ANOTHER PERSON, CONCRETE, ASPHALT). AR15/M16 platforms may or may not go on safe.The others I have limited experience with. ALWAYS Attempt to place the weapon on safe before dropping the magazine. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF OF THE TRIGGER . Best bet if you have no experience and you do not have to clear the weapon. Leave it alone and alert authorities. It will not go off on its own.
