  1.  @matthewmullin8168  Also ruined their future economic developmental prospects by expelling their productive Jewish and Muslim merchant classes smh.....especially the expulsion of the Moriscos really, really hurt Spain imo in the long run. It also lead to economic collapse, decaying infrastructure, and agricultural output decline due to increasingly high rents and depopulation in Valencia in Aragon with overdue debts for the nobility/landlords for example weakening the economy of Valencia significantly.
