  2. yeah definitely not the best move, they need to re-industrialise fully, they need to heavily invest in nuclear energy and renewable energy as well as increase military spending to 3% of GDP and increase their fertility rates to let's say 2 children per woman or 3 children per woman...

That's pretty grim, the UK definitely needs to rapidly expand it's armed forces' size with a larger navy, larger army and bigger air force I think with let's say 3% of GDP military spending (or 4% of the UK's GDP on military spending) funded by a land value tax (LVT). I would say it needs more advanced main battle tanks, more attack submarines, more fighter aircraft, way more artillery and more combat drones (aka unmanned combat aerial vehicles). Also increasing Britain's total fertility rate somehow to 2 children per woman or even better 3 children per woman or 4 children per woman would be ideal in securing it's demographic future and thus it's military potential/great power status. I would say it needs 4 aircraft carriers or 5 aircraft carriers to be a properly respectable naval powerhouse.
