  1. @PRINT Great review! Interestingly in Health and Survival China is a rank lower. One strongly thinks these rankings reflect societal mores and ills rather than governance. We need Social Reform leaders of stature of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Couple Phule, Kamini Roy, Sarala Devi to drive the change... Today's feminist leaders are more focused on Politics than focusing on the Social. This is the core issue.

  4. @PRINT There is nothing wrong in having a self-audit framework and then having one's own rankings. IMHO. The point will be being honest about it. Otherwise, one can have the same argument for the Judicial System and have an external, outside-Indian, body to administer justice in India.
