@PRINT One begs to differ ... The pilgrimages do not necessarily reinforce the idea of India or Bharatvarsh . As having been taken by one's parents on various annual pilgrimages as a child, the purpose always was that of a vacation & religion amalgamation. The idea of India through pilgrimages is a post-facto emergence of a virtual entity, that is post-facto named as "India" by the historian ... It is not a cultural or a nationalistic idea at all.
