Great summary! ...One was listening to Lithuanian Foreign Minister on Amanpour and he referred to this situation Putin/Ukraine as 'surrealistic', reminiscent of pre WW2 and Anschluss moment with Hitler. There was also talk of possibilities of a NATO country being next... Are we really close to that?

It is a reasonable bet that Putin will not stop if one views this as salami tactics ...he already has taken over Belarus practically. ..He will eventually get his buffer zone, regain Russian prestige & rightful place on the power table. It will be a lucky escape for the world if a NATO-Russia face-off is avoided.
