  1. A way to think about this topic is invert the setup in a thought experiment. If this was thousands of (originally) mosques in India that were repurposed/rebuilt as temples by Hindu kings and a section of muslims demanded them to be reverted/rebuilt to mosques, what would be the reaction from hindus? ... quite a complex issue, isn't it? Leave as-is, fully revert or is there something mid-way?
