  1. One is reminded of the Yes Minister episode when Jim Hacker was offered the 'Transport Czar' job and what then ensued... so indeed the CDS will have their job cut out. One can also reasonably bet that the first couple of CDS' will be martyred, just like the first set of WWI soldiers charging the enemy trenches when the big push orders came... It will take a remarkable once in a generation type of implementer in the CDS post, i.e. of Seshan or KPS Gill caliber, for this to not become a right royal pig's breakfast...
