@PRINT With due respect, 12000 sample size translates to ~1.18% error margin, for 99% confidence level! These are done typically done with 95% confidence level and there the error margin is less than 0.9%. If the sample demographic distribution for a given question is done correctly then 12000 is more than enough for such polls. .. Telephonic's do have problems but these pollsters are not amateurs.

@PRINT (11:30) There is definitely a problem with Congress' Demise question - The question is prefaced with negative premise ... One can reasonably bet that the 48% positive response will be lower, if one prefaces with a positive on neutral statement. E.g. Given that Congress got 12 Cr votes in last year's general elections, Is the Congress nearing its demise? ....
