@PRINT It is an interesting, though still a direct & painstaking, approach and one is sure that as more of SARS_COV-2's biochemical action pathway diagram are known, more efficient treatment protocols will emerge (e.g. exploiting identified helper components, signalling components to fully or partially compromise virus action, combined with direct treatments). RE Lockdown - one feels that Lockdown's duration selection of 21 days has other (good) reasons (other than just breaking the chain). The reason is 1) Let all those who are infected & fall ill to be identified and isolated (virus incubation up to 15 days), 2) The 1st 6 days of Lockdown to exhaust the infection potential of already infected individuals (Let Ro to reach it's potential) The problem with the "Lockdown" approach is that the asymptomatic people, who don't get linked to new infections will still be carrying viable virus on Day 22, and a new cycle/chain will begin. It's a reasonable assessment that infections/lockdown cycles will continue till a cure/vaccine is found and how immunity develops in infected survivors and unfortunately, we are in for the long haul..
