  1. There is a very good reason why Bangladesh managed to control population growth rates & Pakistan hasn't yet. The key issue in arresting population growth rates in most Muslim dominated countries are the religious clergy and the like.... Allah ne diya hai, Allah rakhega types (No disrespect to PBUH). In BD, the govt recognized the issue publicly, coopted (educated & aligned) some 30,000 odd religious influencers, gave them monetary remuneration to spread the word in the general population. The approach's success insthere in your data. PK, on the other hand, hasn't done any substantive initiative like that; moreover no one even speaks about things like birth control measures etc in any media for the fear of Muslim right-wingers ....
