But @PRINT, Isn't market cap a reflection of how markets value a company (here bank), so the point is anyways made so far as comparing public banks with private ones w.r.t future performance perception. The real issue is not what to do with public banks only but banking sector as a whole. Banks were nationalized to protect general junta's money, that issue still remains with private banks/FIs...
