As one listens to Biden live right now claiming that essentially the job was done a decade ago and that US goal was counter-terrorism, not counter insurgency or nation building, one wonders if they have accomplished former and if Biden truly believes that US has eliminated Afghanistan as a source for terror against the US. He is a fool if he does but what can the US do...

  4. Listening to the Pentagon briefing on right now, it is clear that US will take out Americans, Allies by Aug 31. They have no commitment to vulnerable Afghans who have supported to the US till now ("help best as we can")... There is going to be a slaughter, a quiet slaughter maybe, but a slaughter none the less in Afghanistan.
