@PRINT All the arguments supporting the export are logical, however what about exports that are triggered for consumers of countries that have higher PPP ratio than India? (Which is most countries! India is 182nd ranked) ... If export demand is high enough and when/wherever logistics/tariffs costs work out in favor of exports then Indians will be left with NO Onions or Agri produce! Do you see the problem?!
