  2. @PRINT Reading Eisenhower's "Mandate for Change", his autobiographical work on his White House years/presidency, these days. Notably, he was the 1st US president to come under 12th amendment (ratified in 1951). Haven't finished the book yet but the parallels are uncanny - state of the world, pressure of isolationists, (no McCarthy or communists today but same different kinds of divide like black/white) and that Dwight intensely dislikes Kennedy and wants to prevent his presidency... Only difference with Trump is that Dwight was a man of honor & Trump the exact opposite..
