  1. This is great, thanks! There is a very recent Doordarshan series "The Hidden Kitchens of North-East" that is also a fantastic introduction to cuisine of the NE states (available on youtube).. worth watching and even trying out recipes. Some of the ingredients are available from specialty online stores but the fresh greens ones require subs... still quite a few recipes that can be made at home successfully.
