Let one ask this hypothetical - If The Family of INC was given an unfettered choice to break a chunk of India, say the South and be the undisputed rulers, would they take the choice or abhor the notion. It is a very reasonable bet the The Family will gladly take this power option. Hypotheticals like this one are at the crux of understanding the deep distrust with the INC since 1998. ... @PRINT IMHO, one doesn't think today's CTC was a dispassionate analysis... That 'one can always build a valid argument using selective premises but it can still be unsound, specious' seems to be the suggestion in the CTC as to what PM Modi did in his address, however if one examines the argument construction by SG in this CTC itself, one will find that it suffers from the same weakness as charge made. Nevertheless, the issue is not what Modi exactly said (of course he was selective) but essence that 'INC must die, if the Family is at the helm' is the key takeaway. One may agree with the takeaway, one may not... ultimately the votes will tell.
