I'd like the New York Times to interview US and NATO country generals and ask if any of them have better, faster methods of dealing with millions of landmines that are covered by artillery with air superiority not possible. I'm sure the Pentagon has been paying keen attention to how well deep minefields are working at slowing Ukraine. If it was Russia, they'd just keep driving into the minefields and spend enough bodies and equipment to until they were able to walk across the burnt out vehicles. Of course, if you are trying to minimize your own casualties, that's not an option.
