Yeah, Turkey was thrown out of the F35 program to buy "superior" S400 air defense systems. (Patriot giggling noises)

24:42 oh, sure. Now that the "superior" S400 has been getting hit... From the air and Russia has no export capacity.

The US loses aircraft and pilots every year during peacetime. It's a dangerous job under good circumstances. Trying to engage numerous incoming air threats while the ground based air defenses are doing the same isn't good circumstances. He gave his life saving Ukranian civilians from Russian terr*r attacks deliberately on civilian targets.

@ilanweinberg2561 When you're talking about a guy who's been in power almost as long as Putin and treats his neighbors the same way with a population that also has no interest in being bothered to change things, "not as bad as..." is a pretty low bar.

@ilanweinberg2561 people throw fireworks and you respond with tanks and helicopter gunships. Your military prosecutes combat actions the same way Russia or Syria does, destroy everything, regardless of who's inside and... You use the same justification as Putin "Oh, they want to eliminate us". Perhaps they want to do so because of how your country has treated them for the past 60 years. You WON the war but never took the W. Instead, you keep fighting an imaginary existential threat until your actions finally give that threat some teeth. However, regardless of what your neighbors might WISH to do, they don't have the CAPABILITY to do, so no real existential threat exists.

@ilanweinberg2561 for 60 years, you've been doing one thing, bullying your neighbors and it's not working. Continuing and expecting a different outcome only means you're insane. But, feel free to vote for your dictator again to continue the status quo, since that's working so well, and maybe have him switch up roles again, as you said he's done and as Putin has done. So, yeah. Putin hasn't been a dictator because he had different job titles. Right?
