Real Republicans remember that Russia is an enemy of the United States. Real Republicans, as patriots, would support a country that is fighting for its independence from an enemy of the United States. Ukraine is now fighting the same fight we did in 1776.

@jurgnobs1308 - The Republican party is broken and the Democratic party have made an anti Constitution stance part of the backbone of the party. I can't, in good conscience, vote for either.

13:27 Quotes from Ronald Reagan, a real Republican: "But if history teaches anything, it teaches that simpleminded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly." (Russia is still an adversary of the United States and all Western nations. He was born Soviet and has delusions of returning Russia to Soviet "greatness", toilet paper lines apparently forgotten).

17:18 The irony about the immigration issue is that it's immigration that is helping the United States avoid the population crisis that countries like Russia and China will experience (and which Japan already is). But, they can immigrate legally! The wait for legal immigration can be 10 years and cost thousands of dollars, a migrant family's life's work to send a relative, legally. Then when that LEGAL immigrant gets here, they send most of their earnings to their family in their country of origin. This reduces the economic growth potential of the communities in which these legal immigrants work and live. The US has arbitrary, outdated annual limits on legal immigration. Preventing people who will work and contribute to US economic growth from moving here is simply as a political point is judy as stupid for Republicans as the anti-Constitutionalist stand against parts of the Bill of Rights is for the Democrats. Someone like Elon doesn't have a party line. It would be communist party, if Russia still had that ideology. The guy wants to sell cars in Moscow and Leningrad. He's willing to be a Russian pawn. While being a pawn, he's happy to throw fuel on a political issue that will keep the working class plebs arguing with each other.

@sumiland6445 - I have a friend in Ukraine and am, obviously, a supporter of aid to Ukraine in their war for independence against an enemy of the United States. However, voting Democrat is as equally unsettling as voting for the Trump Era "Republicans". Biden is an anti Constitutionalist. That is something that I cannot support.

What's worse is that the aid to Ukraine is a LOAN, just as aid to Britain was in WWII. It's not costing Americans anything in the long term. Please remember to educate people about this when you hear or see the argument that we're "giving" to Ukraine. Is the home mortgage or car loan from the bank a "gift"? Most people making those payments wouldn't say it's a gift! (Including the people saying aid to Ukraine is costing us!) It's not a gift anymore than the mortgage or car loan. It's a loan to help Ukraine win their independence from Russia, an enemy of democracy and enemy of the United States. Please remember to educate people about the fact of the matter when you hear "gift" or "giving" as an argument against aid to Ukraine.

21:00 The Taliban probably think of Putin what Putin thought of every recent American president (including Trump), that they're weak fools. Putin was a KGB officer of the glorious Soviet Union during the ENTIRE ten years that Russia was fighting in Afghanistan. Putin was in the KGB from 1975 to 1991 and the Afghanistan war ran from 1979 to 1989. The Taliban that are meeting with Putin are probably relatives of people that the Soviet union killed.
