  1. It boggles the mind that anyone who is capable of independent thought could think Russia isn't evil and entirely responsible for this war. I have a friend in Ukraine who is of Russian descent and Russian speaking, one of the people who Putin is supposedly liberating. She fled Donetsk during the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine to a more western town in Ukraine. In February 2022, she told me that she's no longer Russian and is now a proud Ukrainian. Recently, she's said that she can't understand what's wrong with Russians (in Russia). So, even someone who considered themselves "Russian" for 30 years thinks Russians are horrible for what they're doing to Ukraine and its people.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is about as un-American as it gets. However, she is a good example of the type of corruption we have in America. She cares about being a political figure and famous. That's it. She found a niche and schtick that could get her what she wants. Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn't care about America, her constituents, or the effects and consequences of her words. But, she does have her title as a politician and her 15 minutes of fame. That's the logic Marjorie Greene is using. Incidentally, appeasement and not immediately acting at the onset of Hitler's hostility cost significantly more to deal with later.

Marjorie Greene is a lunatic and people like her are holding the weak Republican leaders, like Kevin Mccarthy hostage, driving the agenda from the backseat. Mccarthy wants to be in power, so he won't actually lead. The same is true as you go up the ladder. Trump wasn't a leader. He was treating the presidency like a game show and playing the people against each other in hopes of staying in power. Barrack Obama, bless his naive heart, was so focused on the "Russian reset" and dealing with the foreign mess Dubya left him that he didn't realize that Putin thought he was a "stupid black" (according to Julia ioffe's research on Putin and Russia) and just buying time to shape his bigger plans for what we now see him doing. I think Biden is an anti-Constitutionalist, every bit as much as Trump was, in different ways, and out of touch. However, to his credit, he does have a good team of people who understand Russia as an enemy and the bigger picture of needing to stop Russia in Ukraine so that Putin isn't encouraged to try his luck in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, or Poland. A bully has to be stopped. Rolling over never stopped the next beating. When the US and UK failed to uphold their responsibility under the Budapest Memorandum at the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Putin viewed that as a green light to continue. If he's not stopped in Ukraine and kicked out, he will definitely try again. If Ukraine were to be allowed to fall to Russia, Putin would absolutely try other former Soviet, now NATO countries that he sees as "Russian territory".
