The fact that those guys look excited to have them. I was excited to get a scooter nearly 40 years ago, as a kid, when it became a fad but I wasn't planning to go into battle on it!!

People thought the same thing of Ronald Reagan, the Hollywood actor. He destroyed the Soviet Union without firing a shot. Apparently, Russia needs to learn to quit picking fights with actors.

This is exactly what Prigozhin said in his "truth propaganda".

@HuskyOwner-bl1jf I don't see any of our previous 3 presidents, at least, turning down a ride out of Dodge under the same circumstances as Zalensky. Russia was a stone's throw from Kyiv.

I'm hoping that Western leaders, ironically led by France of all places, are finally getting past the appeasement, self deterrent mindset and realizing that Putin has no escalation left. He's been 100% in since day 3.

@larsrons7937 - Yup. I was just pointing out that someone inside Russia who was very well known and on the verge of overthrowing Putin was saying what the original comment said.

15:33 it's interesting that cluster munitions weren't intended for anti personnel use nor expected to be effective as an anti personal system. They were designed to eliminate soft targets like trucks and lightly armored vehicles like troop transports (BMP, BMD, BTR) or self propelled artillery. Probably the dumbest thing Russia did is give the West a chance to field test equipment, against unwilling volunteers, to see what actually is good for what and what needs improvement (like electronic interference with GPS guided munitions) as well as drone and anti drone tech and weapon systems. It's like if the bad college team shows their entire playbook to a very good high school team, that can hold its own against them, while the other college teams watching.

12:58 The Mirage going to Ukraine is significant and something Ukraine can really make use of. The Gripen and Mirage are superior to the F-16 in that they've been designed for stand off capabilities in lieu of a large air force and significant stealth fighter and bomber penetration capabilities. The Mirage and Gripen (which NATO really should've fast tracked instead of F-16... But, Ukraine is getting hand me down F-16s that countries want to replace), can carry the Storm Shadow /SCALP missiles, we're all familiar with by now, but also British Meteor long range air to air missile which has longer range than AIM 120 AMRAAM the F-16 can carry. The Meteor has equivalent range to the long range R37 missiles (designed to shoot down B52 bombers but have shot down several Ukrainian fighters) that Russia will lob at Ukrainian aircraft when they have the opportunity and from behind the cover of air defenses that F-16 couldn't penetrate without risk. F-16 can't carry either long range weapon. It's possible Ukraine could modify the F-16 to carry Storm Shadow. I've been told 2 of its pylons could bear the large missiles but there is no kit currently available for this. Mirage would immediately take workload off Ukraine's tired and dwindling Su 24's as well as provide a long range counter to Russia trying to use the R37 against Ukrainian aircraft.

We're having difficulty convincing the Republican Party to actually back a winner (they were against aid to Britain during WWII and against aid to Ukraine but demanded over 2 trillion dollars to "nation build" and "search for WMD" in Iraq and Afghanistan for 20 years).

Putin suggests it's crazy that Russia would invade NATO because he doesn't recognize that countries he views as part of the Russian sphere of influence are part of NATO. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Germany, Finland, Sweden... None them are part of NATO in Putin's mind. Well, except when he's complaining about how countries flee from Russia to NATO.

13:19 Ironically, the US also already, currently has equipment such as Abrams tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles staged in Europe, wait for it.... In the event of a Russian invasion of Europe (ironic since an invasion has been going on since 2014). The equipment is staged since it's faster to just get their crews and maintenance personnel there by air. All this equipment that is collecting dust would probably be better used NOW by Ukraine in thwarting the current invasion and preventing a further invasion of Europe by diminishing Russian military capacity, making Ukraine an untenable European foothold, and unequivocally telling Putin and Russia that Europe, including countries Putin views as "part of Russian sphere of influence" are not up for grabs.

For perspective, Trump said people who join the military are losers and suckers.

@terryhand Either YouTube comments are bugged again or the YouTube thought police removed my comment pointing out that Trump said anyone who joins the military is a loser and a sucker.

@juliettejamour5484 - I realize that you're probably either a bot or a confused pro Russia Westerner (remember, Putin only views something as being good for Russia if it's bad for the West, where you live, aka a zero sum game), but if you're actually a person and can use your words, I'm genuinely curious why you think Zalensky is "a con". Who has he conned? You'll probably say he conned Ukrainian people, but he was democratically elected in elections that were regarded internationally as fair. He has then gone on to lead his country during war and even visiting troops in frontline towns. You might say he conned the West. How exactly? The West wants Russia to be stopped in Ukraine and evicted from Ukraine so as to prevent further attempts of Russian aggression in other countries that Putin views as "Russian territory". Answers? Or, you're just repeating something that someone else said without actually thinking about it?

16:04 turtle motorcycles!! That crap is just to help convince the soldiers not to shoot their commanders for telling them to go into battle on that crap. 17:02 nearly 40 years ago, as a school kid, I was this excited when I got a scooter, it was a new fad. I wasn't planning on going into battle with it though. The scooter kind of ruins the skull balaclava motif.
