After that, Ukraine's jets dispersed and have been operating from highway makeshift air fields. That's a key aspect that makes the Mig-29 and Saab Gripen superior to the F-16 in this theater. That said Russia has shown very little interest in attacking military targets with its long range missiles and drones.

  2. Russia's "medevac" policy seems to be at odds with their need of more troops. You have someone equipped and possibly with some training and limited experience that are just given up from survivable wounds.

One of the reasons Russia wants Ukraine is as a buffer against attack, because Russia has been invaded in its past. Using #RussianLogic, the UK should be invading France to prevent a possible attack across the straight of Dover. Been there, done that. Europeans have evolved beyond the simple, barbaric brains of their Russian neighbors. Europe looks for ways to make a better future. Russia looks for ways to return to a past that wasn't very good.
