  1. It wasn't too long ago when you and other commentera were saying that the fight for Kherson would be hard, door to door fighting. Yes, the open terrain fighting was hard fought. However, the fight for the city happened exactly I'd said, a defeat of Russian logistics leading to a defeat of the city defenders by lack of supplies. This is also why Ukraine won't give Russia a break to resupply during mud or winter seasons. Ukraine will probably focus as their next objective to draw a line south from Zaporizhia. They will then attack the former Kherson occupiers from both east and west and force them to retreat into Crimea. Then, Ukraine will also use its newfound manpower and equipment advantages to also push east from the Zaporizhia funnel putting pressure on Russian Donbas forces from multiple vectors also.

  2. That Russian ambassador is a perfect example of why communism doesn't work. Everyone must share eq, except the ruling class who don't need to share resources or share in any hardship. Communist mentality, ironically, afflicts most capitalist free market CEOs and upper management.
