Science relies on proving that things are wrong and when things are not wrong we call that a fact.
Science is based entirely on having ideas and then challenging those ideas as totally as possible and anything that survives that challege is a fact.
The challenge, itself, the defiance to explore whether or not it is true is called experiment, not debate.
The process of experimentation and testing is called science.
The result of the scientific experimentation is called a fact.
We can debate whether or not this procedure is science but we cannot debate science.
If you have an experiment that shows something but I cannot reproduce that experiment to show the same result, we call your result an anomaly and disregard it, we do not call it debating science.
If I cannot reproduce your result but others can, we call my result an anomaly, and your result a fact.
We do not debate results, we reproduce them.
If a result can be reproduced, it is a fact.
If a result cannot be reproduced it is an anomaly.
We can debate this as far as you like but we do not debate science, we perform experiments and see if an idea is a scientific fact or if it is nonsense.
We do not debate experiments, we perform experiments.
We do not debate science we explore things through science
