Some studies suggest that ivermectin can help treat COVID-19; others show no significant impact. Many of the studies had small sample sizes and other limitations. U.S. health and drug agencies say that more research is needed before making a definitive conclusion about ivermectin’s efficacy against COVID-19. It analyses 24 studies across 3406 participants (average study size 142). In the FLCCC paper, they rate only 3 studies as having no structural biases. Of those 3, one shows positive results, one cannot be evaluated for a risk ratio, and one shows no improvement for Ivermectin. Proof of effectiveness in most studies includes wide confidence margins. Also the FDA has not approved ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19.

The official guidelines for doctors from the Japanese Ministry of Health states that "compared to standard treatment and placebo, ivermectin did not reduce deaths, shorten the hospitalization period and improve time of virus disappearance." A clinical study by Japan's Kitasato University on ivermectin as a Covid-19 treatment is ongoing, but public broadcaster NHK reported on August 23 that it struggled to recruit participants.

Milder symptoms, you won't be gasping for air and be rushed to the ICU, they have been VERY clear about this for months. Not sure why people are still acting surprised. It's not a secret 🤷‍♂️

@backcountryme big part of the problem has been Israel ending its restrictions. Dr Asher Salmon, director of the Department for International Relations at Israel’s ministry of health, do you suggest leaving the virus run rampant and let it kill off millions more? Is that the solution from the antivaxxers? Not sure.
