Your body needs healthy fats for energy and other functions. Too much saturated fat can cause cholesterol to build up in your arteries

What’s wrong with knowing what inside what you’re eating? People just complain for the sake of complaining

Any news you’ve opened up a dictionary and looked up what communism means?

@Sukitbitch123 Are you hinting at something? Do you have cobwebs between your thighs? Sounds like it 🤔

@RepublicOfWesternCanadaNOW Two types of lipoproteins carry cholesterol throughout the body: LDL (low-density lipoprotein), sometimes called “bad” cholesterol, makes up most of your body's cholesterol. High levels of LDL cholesterol raise your risk for heart disease and stroke. Why are you against people knowing what kind of saturated fat they’re putting in their body?

@RepublicOfWesternCanadaNOW there are two types of cholesterol, LDL is very bad and high levels of LDL cholesterol raise your risk for heart disease and stroke. HDL (high-density lipoprotein), or “good” cholesterol, carries cholesterol back to the liver. The liver then flushes it from the body. High levels of HDL cholesterol can lower your risk for heart disease and stroke. We should know what we’re eating no?

@Paying more will save the planet. Lean is different than regular ground beef, saturated fat and cholesterol are not good for you or anyone. They should have a label because many people don’t bother checking the tiny label that’s on the package

@ickster23 We not even close to being authoritarian, people are exaggerating way too much. I invite them to go visit a country where they do have, they’ll be kissing the ground in Canada as soon as they return

Your diet plays a huge role in your weight. You can train seven days a week at the gym, if you’re eating habits are bad you’re not going to lose weight

Eating good fats in place of saturated fat lowers the “bad” LDL cholesterol, and it improves the ratio of total cholesterol to “good” HDL cholesterol, lowering the risk of heart disease. Eating good fats in place of saturated fat can also help prevent insulin resistance, a precursor to diabetes.

@GG-uv9ok Well my doctor had me on medication to lower my triglycerides because of LDL. That was years ago. I don’t take any medication anymore but avoid saturated fat like the plague.
