everything is for American Strategic Interests. the EU has to work for ASI, just look at all the conflicting attitudes. USA still considers Latin America as its “backyard”. everything cruelly dictated by American Federal Gov

@kasugaryuichi9767 it’s not only defensive. USA can always call/contract NATO forces for its “foreign” or neighboring operations. if you have seen NATO taking part in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, and places in Africa. NATO being commanded by the USA to sail into the Pacific region. at any point, America will call in favors from NATO members
18
also, Yemen and places in Africa. NATO (led by USA) trying to intercept the Pacific
13
USA has significant influence over Ukraine after that coup in 2014. Every country has a right but they have to choose wisely - neighbors are always watching
10
Russian action is in direct response to USA influence, imo. things could be better if set back to 2010. although, America would not like that
10
that would prove that the USA controls the UN, at least indirectly if not directly
8
USA and GB created United Nations during ww2. if you created something, you have great influence over it
7
joining NATO means USA has more influence over you. Russia doesn’t want a country within the hands of America. Ukraine wants to be in the hands of America but that will threaten the life of Russia in the future
7
@alvaroanton636 I literally lost brain cells reading your reply. “good guys”. who said anyone is a “good guy”? lmao. this is not hero vs villain fairytale. If that’s how you see the world, good luck. anyways, it is said that the US may have had involvement in the coup. even if they did not have anything to do with it, USA did step in to influence the country based on political and military maneuvers inside Ukraine. America making moves
7
@alvaroanton636 whatever. go on reddit for baseless satisfaction if you need to
6
lol
6
NATO gets involved with anything in Europe. No point in having Ukraine in NATO if NATO is going to intervene anyways
6
Interesting theory
6
@alvaroanton636 chances of USA starting something in Russia using bases in Eastern European countries and troops from NATO countries are pretty high. this conflict started since the 2014 coup. debatable on who started or controlled the whole event
6
@alvaroanton636 enough reading your comment, I lost enough brain cells seeing you ramble the same info over and over again. you bring nothing new. continue joyriding lamestream media
6
The video is great analysis but I don’t agree. Russia needs to protect its borders. USA already has massive influence over neighbors of Russia, so indirectly influence over Russian borders
5
@danielbenner7583 trade is generic, but USA has influence to have other countries take precaution when interacting with Venezuela and Cuba. the sanctions on the two countries is definitely beyond regular economics, goes into geoeconomics and political-implications. America can easily coup any country in South America, they have to tread lightly
5
that’s because “defensive” is their slogan. NATO is always contracted by USA to take on operations outside their scope
5
NATO is dictated by USA, so saying “USA and NATO” is kinda redundant
3
just because it looks like empire building doesn’t mean it is. false positive. USA has been making moves since the fall of the USSR. imo Russia has been careless in letting this crisis fall this way
3
they’re referring to power projection and political influence. that tiny piece Russia owns can’t do anything. USA has creeping influence with the countries in Eastern Europe
3
funny joke
2
this video is definitely American geopolitics but I do like the analysis made
2
America is not gonna like that. I think with establishment of EU army, NATO will still exist
2
tbt USA failing to defeat Russia during its civil war
1
so, Ukraine will become a protectorate just like the island? sad state of affairs
1
nope
1
not gonna be ww3
1
in theory, but I think in practice, things will be different. Ukraine and Russia haven’t collaborated in years, so there is divergence
1
better if Russia invests more in gray zone tactics or hybrid warfare
1
nukes are duds at this point
1
pretty much
1
@jjdelft3216 but Russia can take appropriate action to another’s threatening moves
1
quiet talks always going on
