  1. oil and gas supremacy is a false positive. those neighboring countries that cooperate with Russia sell massive amount of oil to neighboring places, so it's not absolutely about oil nor gas. Russia definitely intervenes into a neighbor that attempts to join NATO, as the neighbor would then be a launching pad for NATO

  5. No where does it say Russia has control of Azerbaijani gas/oil. It does say Russia invested in the country’s export of oil/gas. Kazakhstan ships a lot of resources to China. Ukraine wasn’t an issue until the 2014 coup, which led to Russia taking Crimea
