  1. Take the report from US media at face value grain of salt. Taiwan is NOT being bullied by China mainland, Beijing is extremely patient with Taiwan, giving Taiwan many trade and social preferential privilege, Taiwan’s economy is heavily dependent on mainland, China does not need to resort to military force to unite Taiwan, China could just take away those privileges and Taiwan will suffer greatly. Most time you listen from US media painting China as the ‘aggressor’, they often tell you half the story that they wants you to think, and deliberately leave out the other half of important context, intentionally mislead the viewers, we call ‘brainwashing’. China does not deploy military showdown in SCS out of nowhere, often times military showdown are responding to US and US allies aggressive provocation, or to respond to DPP’s attempted inching toward secession against internationally recognized One China Policy, therefore against Chinese sovereignty, because Taiwan is China’s sovereign territory. Taiwan secession seperatist party DPP is very insidious and don’t really care about Taiwan people in reality, but they are very good at campaigning themselves to recruit younger generations, who are in general easily brainwashed. DPP would campaign themselves as an progressive party who ‘seem to care’ about current day issues like Climate Change, environmental issues, that earns them the name ‘Green Party camp’, but they are the biggest hypocrites who will say one thing, and do the other, they don’t keep their words and they don’t convict by their principle values that they campaign themselves for. I’m bilingual both Chinese and English, my source of knowledge and informations are broader, so I’m able to see bigger pictures from all perspectives.
