  3. I don't think he had much to do with this particular failure, but the optics are not going to be great for him as most people can only really think governors when it comes to states. It's easier to view a single person then dozens or hundreds.

  9. It depends on the level of government they're at. If you were to talk federal government I would definitely agree with those numbers and the state government would be a bit less. But yeah, you have the general concept in mind. Most reliable GOP is on the county and local level.
