  3. You're more likely to have a revolution than a divorce. Despite all the talk of secession nobody really wants to actually push for it. And I don't think there's such thing as a peaceful divorce even if there was secession. By the way both options are still far off. There needs to be a lot more pressure and people can't be just downtrodden like now, a lot of people have to be desperate.
