  1. "The press" is not a single entity. "The media" is not a single entity. "Legacy media" is not a single entity. People have to grow up and differentiate. There are media actors that have a hidden agenda and other don't. Just need to know the background and constantly be vigilant. If you believe "the press/media/legacy media" is your enemy you probably are a victim of another media entity trying to badmouth competitors.
