@AthelstanEngland How could you possibly know the best sportsmen and women made it to the top? Millions were not given the opportunity. Where were the East African middle and long distance runners in 1936? Where were the Caribbean sprinters? The Latino and black boxers? The black basketballers?

@Roundhead75 It was the Soviet Union, the United States and the British Empire who defeated fascism. Shame people seem to have forgotten about the rise of fascism and its danger to democracy.
