After 14 years of Tory economic management, what happened to the other £1.7+ trillion? UK government debt as a percentage of GDP in 2010 was 64.7%. It is now - after 14 years of the Tories - 97.9%. Credit rating AAA – now Aa3 Inflation 1.6% - now 10.9% Ave growth 2.5% - now 0.003% £1-$US1.58 – now £1=$US1.23 NHS wait 2 months – now 2 years Asylum claims 18k – now 200k+

  7.  @LordWalsallian  Labour wanted earlier, shorter lockdowns. The country ended up with long lockdowns due to Johnson's dithering, which allowed the virus to spread. Labour had to deal with a Global Financial Crisis, which had originated in the US (subprime mortgages) but which the Tories and Lib Dems blamed on Labour. There is a long list of Labour achievements during 1997-2010 - the Tories have nothing in comparison.
