  1. Monte Stu Sanders is "smart" in the sense of being up to front up to the press each day to relentlessly and creatively lie with a straight face. Some of the outrageous behaviour or tweets she's had to explain or defend, take some "smarts". This is essentially the joke Wolf told about Sanders, which drew the most controversy. It wasn't a comment on Sanders' appearance, rather her resourcefulness when repeatedly lying.
