Did you know that loss of a loved one, especially a traumatic one can cause disorientation, insomnia, increased irritability, and disconnection of reality? She also could have been on medications to offset those effects of loss, such as anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications. She lost her father, so quite frankly alcohol use is not the only possibility to she was acting odd.
