  2. Pull the rods man! And Fukushima was not hit by a tidal wave, it was a tsunami. This tsunami was generated by a 9.0 earthquake which wracked the facility before hand. Said facility housed a British 1950s MADDOX design reactor whereas I imagine Miamis Nuclear Reactor would be a little more modern in regards to automatic shut off or rather cessation of cascade reaction.
