  4. I remember being a kid in the early 90s and my older brothers said one day. Dude, Star Wars (i forget which specifically) is on. You'll love this because it has lasers and plasma swords. To which my response was something like, 'hell fucking yes'. Some thirty minutes in I decided that this shite was not for me. Why? It was drool as fuck, I did then and I still would rather watch The Dark Crystal, Terminator or even the Never Ending Story over any Stars Was. That said. I anit much of a movie guy, I prefer muh vidya games cos interactivity. Some people complained about a mute Issac Clark but bah I say, bah! For the first one any way, the other 2 are more and more meh cos forced multiplayer and non survival horror nonsense. But I digress, fuck Star Wars. Beside the lightsaber battles it really is a shitty fantasy world and indeed set of stories. Oh and space battles. Stars Wars can claim that but so can Deep Space 9 so again, meh.

  5. 28:55 Lol! Styx only gone and mentioned the very fucked up, The Dark Crystal, some 25 minutes of me posting my OP. I can also confirm that movie gave me nightmares. And there was me thinking that my first horror movie was Halloween some 4 or 5 years after I first watched The Dark Crystal which can be likened to horror for kids. I think it was the fact everything was a miniature and or puppet with some large scenes done with actors which made the whole thing ride the Uncanny Valley rather brilliantly. Like a grand and macabre version of Punch and Judy. As an aside I recall being aged 9 and was at my granddads for the night and was sent to bed at 9 PM sharp (UK watershed prime time ie now you can swear and show titties and or gore, twas a different time) with instruction not to come down even as my older brother (14) was told he could stay up to watch something called The Thing. Well I couldn't sleep and never did like authority so I came downstairs about a hour later under the pretense of can I get some water and walked into the living room just in time to see the scene were a thing - that had had his spine rip itself out of his body and was walking around on all fours like some fucked up Hellish sentinel, walked around a corner and the camera got up in it's face. I squealed. Heard laughter. Ran away. Tried to sleep and failed for hours as when I drifted off to the edges of sleep (and therefore normal reality) the door of the room would open and in would walk that fucked up thing and I would bite down on my hand and or tongue because fuck if I was gonna wake my old school but cool (he had a SEGA through to PS3 bless him) granddad with a nightmare he full well tried to prevent me from having in the first place.

  7. Anyone heard claims that the Star Wars story ark was edited by the dude that does most of the speaking on American intelligence Media's platform? Cos I find that interesting and believable if only because Lucas clearly sucks at writing given his work before Shitney bought the IP from him.
