Damn did I like that game, I actually managed to beat the game on it's highest difficulty setting once, and only once, which was an arduous task given getting all but three of the secret projects under your belt before the other factions was an absolute must; if you wanted to stand a chance against the nerfed AI on transcendent difficulty. Even with all the benefits those projects bring Brother Lal of the UN was on the middle Island during the end game and I had ignored him till that point. So I invade with a massive army and he had gone defense mad. Each of his bases was stuffed to the gunnels with units behind Tachyon Fields and he almost overwhelmed my military reserves and came close to pushing me back before I cruise missiled his counter attacking army into the ground at which point his reserves were gone and I had established a beach head of 3 colonies on his island. After that I shock dropped troops behind his lines and then stomped across the Island. Never before did I take such satisfaction in crushing the UN lol.
