  1. Disagree. When something like 90% of all oceanic plastic based pollitants come from 2 rivers, belonging to 2 certain Asian countries, I fail to see why I should suffer. Plastic makes the modern world possible. I’m fine with things like replacing so called fossil fuels (I agree with Styx re extremophilic excretia being the source of fossil fuels) with hemp derived plastics that with additives can do all that normal plastic does but war less problematic as it breaks down. But banning plastic cos Indians and Chinese people have an utter disregard for theirs, let alone others, environment? Nah. I homebrew to keep my cost of living down but still keep up my Anglo-Saxon ways. Plastic makes it way easier and all the plastic carbonated spring water bottles I use as mixer then get, ahem, passed onto others filled with my hooch. Keeps costs down not having to use fancy glass bottles. I ain’t giving that up because others fail to look after their environment and I take issue with anyone that says the government should compel me to stop using plastic bottles. I’m quite surprised one Tarl Warwick would fall foul of such a critique.

  2. Derp. I shudda watched longer than 30 seconds before reee-ing into the comment section. I agree with things like bringing back glass bottles and easing up on the use of plastics in one’s life where one can. But as per my personal example, amma keep using those cheap carbonated spring water bottles. I do however go to the shops with a rucksack so I don’t need to use the plastic carrier bags.
