  2. hear hear! you nailed it. "under educated", rural backwater states calling the shots. We have that here in Australia. We have a political party called the National Party. It is a poorly disguised lobby group for Agriculture and it is the Farmer's party. It is lead by drunks with big hats and really slow types, indicative of rural backwaters where over subsidised farmers moan about their lot.
