Rounded to the next whole number that is a good old zero. meanwhile, this matters because comparing half a million high wage tech jobs to millions and millions of min wage jobs is TOTALLY an honest argument

@p.s.shnabel3409 I know you havent worked with them because you unironically refereed to them as " high skilled" and i worked for Infosys, top tech company that does business with basically every banking institution, mobile carrier, hospital, etc all across the country, staffed almost entirely with indians from india who came over on visas. The entire system is a joke. and miss me with that moving the goalposts BS, you compared the entire workforce of the united states with one type of visa, laughable if i say so myself. but again, its not JUST the H1, there are other visas at play because the entire system runs on cheating the system. there are multiple types of working visas, student visas, and visitor visas, and plenty of fraud. You know what would be a good idea? maximum interest additions. lets say there is a max 10 year cap limit on interest added to the total loan or a maximum % over loan amount say if all interest added up to 150% of the total loan amount ( IE loan is $100K, and with interest over time the total amount paid would get to $150k the loan would no longer collect interest)

@jsutton6339 you dont have to be an economist to understand that putting hard limits on interest would be immensely helpful. for example, 100k loan stops collecting interest after the total pay back amount reaches 160k. at the very least you stop ending up spending 300 a month just to cover interest, let alone paying down the principal

@jsutton6339 i mean i dont think its fair to keep housing prices artificially inflated for tax purposes. i mean at what point is a run down junk house in brockton selling at 180k for a 2br is insane... the average home cost in MA is like 360k! the biggest problem with debt is cost of living is so different, this means what a dollar buys is different depending where you go. 70k in boston is nothing, but 70k in south Carolina is great
