  10. @amandavieira2543  but see, who is "you people"? Just like how a lot of people can lump all lgbtqia2s+ together, you have done the same thing on this issue. I PROMISE you that most people genuinely care about this topic and the people being affected. And yes there are some that are purely nasty or hateful or just close-minded and not engaging this topic in a sincere way. I think the reason you haven't met a detrans person is for a reason-- they feel 100000% unwelcome and unsafe in queer spaces and communities. The vitriol they receive is actually frightening. So, I'm not surprised you haven't come across a detrans person OR for that matter, you probably haven't heard any complaints or concerns from the trans folks you have met (because I GUARANTEE you every single one has problems, doubts, worries, and medical complications, some more severe than others) but the community has made it QUITE clear to anyone that has felt regret, discomfort, or even just unsure about their transition-- that they are a problem and are harming other "real" trans people. I have been beyond disappointed in "my community" and I use quotation marks because I refuse to identify with them anymore. For a group that touts love and inclusion and acceptance-- I have found the opposite. I have experienced so much coercion, aggression, abuse, bullying, groupthink, militant adherence to doctrine, and downright brainwashing. What has happened? How did things go SO QUICKLY off the rails? Things were not like this in 2015, just 10ish short years ago. I truly believe that a lot of bad actors and ideologies flooded queer spaces (purposefully btw, because marginalized and vulnerable populations are the easiest to control) and set us off on a self-destructive radical path that has setback "queer acceptance" by decades. People do not like us anymore and I don't really blame them. We completely abandoned rationality and fairness and objectivity. I'm just very saddened and disappointed. If you, or anyone, really cares about trans people, then we should GREATLY care for detransitioners because they can really help us to understand gender identity more AND they deserve our love and care and we should listen to them if they are telling us that things went wrong for them. Of course it doesn't mean it's happening to everyone, but it's clearly happening to some right? And really one person's life really damaged is one too many. So I want to know how we can improve trans care to the point where detrans is almost nonexistent. That is what we should be striving for imo.

  14.  @heathertaylor8904 no darlin, I don't think YOU understand this issue. You think you do because you have listened to all the "right" people that have fed you this whole "empathy and love and acceptance" nonsense-- essentially they have weaponized our own humanity and kindness (which is actually quite typical of leftist ideology in general). To begin, no there have not been trans people all throughout history and cultures. This is a very dishonest and purposefully manipulative way that the trans and gender activists have twisted history to suit their narrative. For example, they often like to use the example of certain native tribes that had 2 spirit persons and things of that nature. This has been appropriated (mainly by liberal whyte people btw) and misrepresented as proof of "transness". Yet, if the activists would kindly shut up and do some listening they would know that COUNTLESS Natives have very openly addressed this claim many times attempting to educate the rainbow mafia-- the Natives spiritual practices and shamanic beliefs are NOT the same as modern transgenserism at all! You will find the same sort of thing with the various, and very weak, claims about historic "transness". However, even IF (just for the sake of argument) we had concrete proof of trans people dating back into history-- what does that really prove, other than humans have always dealt with mental health issues? The presence of a trans identified person in ancient Rome does not have ANY WEIGHT on the validity of transness. That person was confused back then, just as some are confused today lolz. But I will tell you what IS different. Throughout history, despite if there were some people that THOUGHT they should be a woman or a man, society did not reject the factual, scientific, biological reality of the sex binary. They didn't confirm and celebrate the delusion of transness. Yet here we are today, where something that is SO RARE has now become a fashion trend forced onto the cultural consciousness, ESPECIALLY our youth. And it is sold as a new religion, a "cure all" for any and all generic ailments that basically affect every human. Feel anxious? YOUR TRANS! Sad sometimes? YOUR TRANS! Don't fit in much? YOUR TRANS! Uncomfortable with your body (duh pretty much everyone is at different points in life, but especially puberty)? YOUR TRANS! This has been cultivated in the online spaces, starting with Tumblr and eventually spreading to all platforms, which are notorious for entrapping young people (especially young women) and super especially young people with emotional/mental/psych disorders, in a culture of love bombing and an offer of redemption through the rejection of their own bodies. Is it any wonder that we have seen a massive explosion of trans-identfying youth and that the vast majority of them have a co-morbidity (autism being a key one, but many others as well) because unlike previous generational trends and rebellious phases, this one demands an utter sacrifice of self in a permanent way. It used to be that in middle school, when you felt all those confusing and scary feelings, you would become goth for a year and hide behind dark makeup and Jack Skelington t-shirts. Or in High school when you felt like an outcast,, you might have dyed your hair green and entered your punkrock phase. And at the time you screamed and cried to your parents "You just don't understand me!! This is who I am!! It's not a phase!! 😢" but your parents of course knew it WAS a phase and they would just have to settle in and buckle up for a rough year or two or three. They may have even forced you into therapy, against your better and superior judgement as a wise 16 yo girl. But of course by Senior year you were wearing cute pink skirts, your hair has grown out and gone back to its natural blonde color, and you no longer pretend to love deathmetal music. But with this new social contagion, there is no going back. There is no opportunity for growth and change and maturity and self discovery and professional therapy and real introspection and treatment of co-morbidities. Nope. Now, after the young person has already been completely brainwashed by their online cults for years, they threaten suicide and self-harm to their parents and tell them "a living trans daughter is better than a dead son" which is not only wildly inaccurate (as all the research shows that trans intervention and surgery actually increases mental health disorders and self-harm/suicide) but also incredibly abusive as a form of emotional manipulation. From here the child is fast-tracked to hormones or blockers (countless cases from both patients and Healthcare professionals have confirmed it can take as little as 20-30 minute visit to the clinic) and not long after the surgeries usually begin. Then, when the many young people are detransitioning by the droves, people like you more trauma and abuse to them by claiming "you were never REALLY trans to begin with!" Which just boggles my mind on an infinite number of levels lolz! It completely exposes the utter hypocrisy, inconsistency, and logical incoherence of the trans ideology. Why do YOU get to decide who is "really" trans or not? I thought the whole point of the entire movement is "your truth" right? You people believe in subjective reality until it no longer fits your agenda, and then it gets discarded and invalidated. The fact is no one is trans. It's not a real thing. There are some people (a TINY TINY TINY amount) that experience genuine and clinical mental distress that makes them feel or desire to be the opposite sex. And if we would treat the underlying causes and traumas we could likely help many of these people accept their bodies and their natural identity. For the remaining few that cannot be helped with therapy, using medical intervention should be as rare and non invasive as possible. And it should ONLY be done with adults. Even then, the reality will still remain-- a trans man is NOT a man and a trans woman is NOT a woman. Rather, a trans man is a TYPE of woman-- it's a woman that desires to live like a man. Same for transwomen, they are a TYPE of man that desires to be womanlike. Sadly what has happened, is the radical leftists have latched onto the trans identity and have used it to further their own political agenda. They needed this new social fight to garner more supporters and create an issue that would attack truth as a fundamental concept. If they can get us to reject basic biology and to deny the truth we can see with our very own eyes---imagine what ELSE they can get us to do??

  19. Its absolutely tragic. Horrific. I actually struggle to find the words for how evil this is. They have turned what was once an INCRRDIBLY RARE medical and mental disorder (true gender dysphoria that will not dissipate with all other treatments, which i do believe truly exists for teeny tiny fraction of people) into a sexy and fun social fad! And it absolutely preys on the most vulnerable, lonely, and confused people in society. There is a REASON why nearly all trans people today have serious co-occuring issues such as Autism, Bipolar, schizophrenia, etc. And for political reasons we have removed all guardrails and safety measures and just fasttrack these people, as young as possible btw, into the transition train. And once you are on it, it is nearly impossible to get off until its too late. That is a COMMON thread i have heard across all detrans stories. My heart breaks and i absolutely REFUSE to shut up about this issue no matter how many times i get called a bigot and a transphobe. Its simply not true. I don't hate trans people at all. I just don't believe the current system and atmosphere is healthy and it is certainly not dealing with gender dysphoria in an ethical way at all. ESPECIALLY when children are involved, i have zero "wiggle room" for allowing interventions of any kind. They need to go through puberty and into adulthood. From there they can begin to investigate transitioning. But the current systems are an abomination and an absolute disgrace to the oath our medical practicioners take to DO NO HARM!!

  20.  @mayayamato7351 what you are saying is simply not true and I'm not sure where you are getting your information from? Here in the US people, especially youth, are ABSOLUTELY fast-tracked into medicalization. I can share with you literally THOUSANDS of cases where an under 18 patient visits a gender clinic for the FIRST TIME and leaves with a prescritpion for blockers and/or hormones within an hour, but usually less. We have hundreds of cases where the minor didn't even physically see the doctor! They went through a checklist with a nurse practitioner who then files the chart and contacts the prescribing doctor and gets a script back which is then printed or sent to a pharmacy. There are no standardized practices, there are no requirements for mental health evals, and there is almost no oversight. Not only do i know all of this from the exhaustive research i have done on this issue (because i have several people in my life that are "trans") but I also know this from direct personal experience. My best friend came out as "trans" and wanted to go to a clinic to get evaluated and just to get information and talk about it. He had lots of questions and was very confused and really just wanted to speak with people about it. So i went with him to the highest-rated clinic in the Chicagoland area. I was in the waiting room for less than 30 minutes when he walked out with a prescription for hormones and a blank look on his face. The car ride home was akward and quiet, because i could tell he was a bit in shock and didn't fully know what had just happened. He said it was like being on a conveyer belt. He was taken by an office worker for some forms, then told he would meet with a licensed professional counselor (whatever tf that means, cause thats quite vague) and while he was still filling out the basic forms, another office worker came in to verify insurance coverage for the visit, and then while STILL finishing up the basic forms, the "counselor" comes in and sits behind the computer and starts rattling off different questions, many of which my friend was unsure about or confused about but the counselor kept rushing him and telling him it "wasn't really important" and often times would push back on certain answers or even change what my friend had said. Meanwhile every question my friend had, was basically brushed off or he was told "we will talk about that soon, this is just the basics ok?". Well, next thing he knows he is being walked to the nurses room and still being told he will get to talk with someone. The nurse does the same thing as the other people-- a really fast and high-pressure set of questions. And then the nurse ruzhes through what is going to happen next and how he will get a script and he doesn't have to fill it if he doesn't want to, but they want him to have the option of he wants to start right away....the nurse hadn't even talked with the doctor yet. Then my friend is walked back out to the patient area by the front desk and told to checkout there and if he wants he can make an appointment to see the counselor again sometime. My friend asked and the next appointment available was almost 2 months away. And then my friend walked towards me holding his prescription and looking dazzed. Thank GOD my friend didn't start the drugs, because only a few months later he decided he is not trans, just "non binary" (which sure we can talk about if thats even a thing) but the point is I have witnessed the madness of the transmedical industry AND the woke ideology fueling this fire more times than i can count. I'm a teacher as well and work with 17-21 year olds and WOW! I can not begin to describe how many of them are so messed up over the gender stuff. I often have several students going on and off hormones, struggling with medical issues becauae of it, some have surgeries and then try to reverse them, and too many of them chnage their minds about their genser identity by the month. It is an absolute SHYT SHOW! And if you TRULY cared about trans people, as i do, you would be the MOST CRITICAL of these institutions and pharmaceuticals being involved because we know how insanely predatory they can be. Instead, you are just fully accepting and celebrating everything and not thinking critically at all-- which I'm sorry, but that is such a disingenuous way to "love" someone and its a real easy way to virtue signal. I hope you do more work and more introspection and don't just listen to the crowd on tiktok, because they have been misled as well.
