what´s wrong with small age gaps though? We did that deliberately with our children so they are more likely to share interests and development stages since it strengthens the sibling bond.

@Brent-z2s would you mind sending me any sources for that? I´m genuinely curious because I have read quite a couple of studies and most of them were inconclusive. The only definitive data I could find was about the fact that sibling relationships tended to be more intense (positively and negatively) the closer they are in age with twins obviously taking the cake.
