The first rule of gun safety is not to point much less fire on anything you don't intend to destroy the second is always know what is behind your target. Warning shots disregard both of those rules and why it is often illegal in most states. Bullets don't just magically disappear if they don't hint anything you see they keep going and could hit someone. And this is very likely to happen in a neighborhood in the middle of the day.

  13. Except a Tazer is not non-lethal. It is called less than lethal and it can still kill someone. Also if you know anything about firearms you always shoot center of mass
